She made sure she was never alone at midnight. That’s when the voices came. They rolled in on a cloud of liquid black, sucked out the air, crushing. A hand to hold was pure oxygen, and the only life boat on a murderous sea.

NaNoWriMo 2019
Will this be the year?
Maybe…
Earlier this summer I started thinking NaNoWriMo could be a fabulous way kick myself in the butt and get lots of words on a page, but…you need a solid idea first.
I’ve worked on a few ideas now, and tried to do some serious writing prep – I’ve even gone so far as to look for write-ins with actual people to talk to. Crazy, I know.
But life happens, and I’m not nearly as prepared as I wanted to be…still, it’s not a challenge if it’s easy, right?!
The one thing to do now is to actually set up a profile, and then we’re off. Let’s do it! X
